Who Wants a Cheap Rhinoceros?

The book Who wants a cheap rhinoceros tells all of the perks that one can have with a pet rhinoceros. The story is told through the perspective of a young boy. The boy lists many positive and a couple of negatives that are associated with a pet rhinoceros. A few of the positives being that the rhinoceros can be a coat rack, a lamp, a shredder for report cards. The rhinoceros also plays a good pirate, battleship, and a shark (scaring others at the ocean). Yet he does not like baths, he is not comfortable when he sits on your lap, and he does not watch where he steps. Yet in the end, we learn that the best thing about having a pet rhinoceros is that “he is easy to love.”
