The Cellar

This is a dark book that revolves around kidnapping, murder, and rape. This book is not for the faint of heart.  A man kidnaps Summer and renames her after a flower, Lily. The book follows the timeline of eight months and is told through 3 different perspectives: Summer, Lewis (Summer’s Boyfriend), and Clover (the Kidnapper). While in the cellar, she has the company of three other girls: Rose, Poppy, and Violet. While the girls may change, their names do not. Together they stick together until they can escape Clover and learn what the new normal is after living in the cellar. Before reading this book, please PLEASE take into consideration the fact that there is some gore in the book. This is more in scenes where Clover kills someone and forces his flowers to clean it up.
