Older gives us a thirst quencher between books 1 and 2, and boy oh boy does he come through for the win with this one! Expect supreme world building, heart wrenching drama, connections with a distant past, and other things that make your heart race and then slow to a stop. If you love fantasy and action, THIS IS FOR YOU!

Reverie

Read the Caraval series by Garber? Did you love Sandman by Gaiman? Well combine the two, and add some LGBTQ vibes and you will get this AMAZING NOVEL! A Reverie is not simply a dream and with the level of horrifying detail used, I wouldn’t want to be stuck in one either! This book is an insane roller coaster that navigates teen issues, mental health issues, and some pretty interesting thought patterns. Reverie is not for the faint of heart! An excellent debut by La Sala!!!

The Sexy Misadventures of Royals (The Princess Problem and Ruling the Princess)

So, this is what happens when you look at a book cover and think “oh this is pretty and it’s about a princess!”. WARNING: FULL ON ROMANCE NOVEL! Now, that isn’t a complaint, it was just very unexpected, as I didn’t ready the cover or the insert. Basically, everything they tell you not to do with books. However, I was pleasantly surprised, I immediately fell in love with the characters and their little world. It was so good; I immediately found the next in the series and dove right in. Of course, it’s not the fantasy, sci-fi that I’m used too but it was an excellent light read. Definitely a page turner, and ultimately a pretty fun read!
