Duck on a Bike and more....

Duck on a Bike by David Shannon

Just to start, this book is available on eREAD KIDS for ebook checkout. I love this book because I think that they are funny. In this book, guess what? There is a Duck that decides that he wants to ride a bike. I think it is funny that throughout the book all of the animals make their designated sound, they all are thinking something different. This book is also a great book for learning animal sounds too, -AH

Just to start, this book is available on eREAD KIDS for ebook checkout. This is a cute book about the small guy on the construction crew, the book teaches us that while we may be the smallest, that does not mean that we are useless and cannot be used for anything. In this book, kid McGear was originally told he would not be helpful on the site since he is so small but later on because of his size and quick thinking he was able to help save the day. -AH

Mother Bruce by Ryan T. Higgins

Just to start, this book is available on eREAD KIDS for ebook checkout. I love this book because it is all about Bruce becoming a mother for four geese. While Bruce originally did not want to be the mother to these geese, he learns to love the geese as if they were his own. Throughout the book, Bruce has some creative ideas on how to get rid of the geese. Just wait and see as they fly south for the winters. -AH
