HOLY COW!  Talk about suspenseful, gothic delight!!!  This was a wonderful, mind bender, with almost a lyrical prose (which is one of my favorite things).  I hate when I love a book so much that I just want to give full details, but honestly, I want to say this... PICK THIS UP, READ IT, and know that I accept donuts and coffee as a form of thanks for recommendation.  This is quite possibly the best debut novel I've ever read, it's a bit astonishing!
