"Cleaning the Gold" is a short story written by Karin Slaughter and Lee Child. They wrote a story with their main book characters. Will Trent is on the search for Jack Reacher. Will believes Reacher committed a murder over twenty years ago. Reacher is asked to help flush out a criminal operation at Fort Knox. Will goes undercover and meets Reacher. It's a good story. The ending is a bit abrupt.

Sarah Addison Allen writes fantastic fiction. Her book "Sugar Queen" is about Josey, a young lady living in her closet eating sweets and reading romance novels as she hides away. She is rescued by her nemesis and fairy godmother figure Della Lee. You will enjoy reading this magical book as Josey transforms with friendships and passion. This is an enchanting book with warmth, wit, friendship and love.

Dick Francis is a king in writing crime mystery novels. His books are easy to read, move at an interesting pace and will keep you up late wanting to finish the book. "Dead Cert" is about the steeplechase horse racing world where Alan York realizes there is more to his friends accidental death as a steeplechase jockey. Alan's investigation to his friends murder puts him in danger and there is more to this mysterious plot.
