Two groups of teens—those waiting to be saved and those doing the saving—are in a race against time and a battle against Mother Nature after an avalanche traps them in an isolated cabin in this chilling novel.

This was a fast-paced story of outdoor survival adventure.  Friends get together for a snow trip and one decides to lead everyone into a dangerous situation.  When a deadly avalanche happens, the group splits into three smaller groups, one group staying with an injured teen and the other two setting off in opposite directions to find a cell phone signal to call for help. The story is told with differing points-of-view from multiple characters.  It helps flesh out the scenes and gives you insight into their inner workings and decisions - some of which are good and some are bad but the different points-of-view told by the characters helps the reader understand why some of these decisions were made.

An action-packed page-turner I would highly recommend to Young Adult readers!
