Lemony Snicket (pseudonym for Daniel Handler) is well known for his A Series of Unfortunate Events books. He has a lesser known, but equally fantastic series called All the Wrong Questions.
This series is a sort of prequel to the Unfortunate Events, though far less gloomy in subject matter. It takes place in a town called Stain'd-by-the-Sea, where a young Snicket has just moved. There are strange happenings in Stain'd-by-the-Sea, and Snicket must investigate, but he has a knack for asking the wrong questions.
The questions, which are also the book titles, are as follows:
1. Who Could That Be At This Hour? (2012)
2. When Did You See Her Last? (2013)
3. Shouldn't You Be In School? (2014)
4. Why Is This Night Different From All Other Nights? (2015)
Young readers who like mystery, witty humor, and absurdity will love this series.
