If you want to be reminded of how much of a Charlie Foxtrot life can be, this is the book for you. This book was like an old girlfriend venting after a 7 year hiatus, oh and by the way, I saw someone get hit by a bus! Straub really gives us the “ugh, what next” vibes combined with a dark humor most can only boast about (or perhaps I’m just dark and twisted for finding a great deal of humor in all of the situations her characters faced). I’m giving this a ⅘, only because there was a bit of unnecessary filler, small points that didn’t really connect in a meaningful way.
